BAE Programs

  • WiT (Women in Technology) program for high school juniors and seniors. 16 week program on Tuesdays from October – February that explores different types of engineering and provides career guidance activities. Available to select schools. [Link]
  • ECD (Engineering Career Day) program. Replaced the job shadow program and includes tours, panel discussions, and lunch with young engineers. Open to all schools and coordinator can work with your guidance counselor to provide an excused absence and credit for job shadowing. [Link]

  • WOW! That’s Engineer Event - http://www.sweboston.org/wow/
  • Merit Certificates – Guidance Counselors can email cg@swesnh.org and SWE will send out a certificate to a female student who you think has high potential in engineering. Generally, a SWE member will present the certificate at the graduation ceremony.
  • Job Shadow/Informational Interview – email Jennifer Schelly  (SWE Southern NH) if you’re interested in setting up a job shadow or informational interview with a female engineer.
